For the following twelve years he made his living as a professional rock musician (he still plays) before joining market analysts Datamonitor as a consultant – eventually rising to the position of Senior Sales Manager in their Healthcare and Pharmaceutical divisions.
Before becoming a full time therapist, he worked for ten years in the corporate training industry designing, implementing and project-managing professional development and IT programmes for organisations as diverse as the Ministry of Justice, HSBC Rail, AOL Time Warner, Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Trust, Mintel, BT Openreach, the British Red Cross and Care UK.
Mark trained at the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy – the only institution of its kind that is externally accredited by the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education. After receiving his diploma, he joined the NRHP (National Register for Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists) as a full member. The NRHP is a member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapists (UKCP) and he adheres to their Code of Ethics.
